Tathane Borges é artista visual e fotógrafa brasileira cuja pesquisa se desenvolve no campo da fotografia contemporânea e experimental.

Sua prática parte do autorretrato como território de investigação, utilizando o corpo não apenas como sujeito, mas como matéria de transformação. Por meio de processos híbridos que combinam fotografia, água, tinta acrílica e intervenções materiais, constrói imagens que emergem de experiências físicas e emocionais, tensionando os limites entre presença e desaparecimento.

Seu trabalho explora temas como memória, vulnerabilidade, identidade e transformação, criando atmosferas oníricas nas quais gesto, matéria e sensação se entrelaçam. Suas imagens habitam um espaço ambíguo entre o visível e o invisível, revelando estados internos e processos de deslocamento, permanência e reconstrução.

Em 2024 realizou a exposição individual Vulnerável na Galeria Nello Nuno da Fundação de Arte de Ouro Preto (FAOP), com curadoria de Danny Bittencourt, e participou da exposição internacional Women in Art, em Turim, Itália. Sua obra também integrou o Salão de Artes Visuais de Vinhedo (SAV).

Entre seus reconhecimentos destacam-se o 3º lugar no TOSEE Art Competition (Zurique, Suíça), a nomeação no Fine Art Photography Awards (FAPA) e a seleção da série Entreato para a campanha oficial do Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize. Seu trabalho foi publicado em revistas internacionais dedicadas à fotografia e arte contemporânea, incluindo TOSEE Swiss Art Magazine, JaamZIN Creative Magazine e Articulate Magazine.

Tathane Borges is a Brazilian visual artist and fine art photographer whose practice unfolds through contemporary and experimental photography.

Working primarily with self-portraiture, Borges approaches the body not only as subject but as a site of transformation. Through hybrid photographic processes that incorporate water, acrylic paint, and material interventions, she creates images that emerge from both physical and emotional experiences, challenging the boundaries between presence and disappearance.

Her work explores themes of memory, vulnerability, identity, and transformation, constructing atmospheric visual environments where gesture, matter, and sensation converge. Situated between the visible and the invisible, her images evoke states of transition, revealing fragments of personal and collective experience.

In 2024, Borges presented her solo exhibition Vulnerável at Galeria Nello Nuno, Fundação de Arte de Ouro Preto (FAOP), curated by Danny Bittencourt, and participated in the international exhibition Women in Art in Turin, Italy. Her work was also selected for the Salão de Artes Visuais de Vinhedo (SAV), Brazil.
